| childhood: growing up was difficult for jasper. born as a witch, it was hard for him to adjust to normal human life. his powers at the time were unstable, and he wasn’t able to control them at such a young age let alone what to do with them. while his parents helped him control his powers, it all ended once he turned 13 years old. his parents died mysteriously. till this day he is unaware of what happened to them, but all he remembered, is when his aunt and uncle picked him up, traveling from Kingston, NY all the way to Gravity falls, Oregon. While living with them, he noticed that his uncle was a mean drunk, while his aunt was an office workaholic, making sure that there was a roof over their heads. because there were times where she’d come home late, jasper’s uncle would accuse her of cheating on him, and as it continued on, it led to a divorce. teen years bullied and teased throughout his childhood it made jasper have a pretty tough shell to crack, and if you did you pretty much opened the gates of hell. he wasn't going to let himself get tossed around like before, he looked at the scars on his chest, telling himself that those are a reminder of how strong he is, and although he's suffered he'll come out victorious. jasper got caught up in the drug dealing business and still sells till this day to get some extra money on the side. While doing this, he worked at a comic book store, where he done most of his deals. he’d hand out the people a small menu, listing fruits in which correlated with a drug. Like a normal teenager, of course he had found someone, Kelsey. (@witcheried on wp) Jasper would consider her as his first love, that was the first person that he felt any intense emotion with. While things were going well, eventually it became unwell. The two were walking around the forest one night, and because of the town’s strangeness and supernatural occurrences, it was terrifying to come across some hybrid monster. While Jasper did all he could to protect his love, he unfortunately risked his life just to make sure she ran far away from both him and the monster. Jasper’s lifeless body laid on the dried up leaves on the ground, his spirit stood there, staring at his corpse. it wasn’t till then when a bright white light appeared, and a man came out of the white light. Bill Cipher. he offered to make a deal with Jasper, because of his heroic actions, he’d bring back the witch, to be reunited with his love. Doing so the deal was made, and right then and there, Jasper was able to live again. The next day shortly, he went to find Kelsey, only to see her close with another boy. His heart had shattered at the sight, after protecting her, risking his OWN life for her, she leaves him for another that quick? Not even mourning that he was dead? It was like at that moment he grew cold, and heartless. He grew bitter and wanted revenge. Jasper went back to the forest that night, once again crossing paths with the man who saved his life, Bill. He told him what he saw, and how angry he was. What he didn’t know was what Bill was truly capable of, the man was filled with evil energy, and power. He asked if he can help out, and Jasper obliged, taking his hand. At that moment Bill had taken over his body, only to kill the boy that Jasper found Kelsey with earlier that day. Once his body was returned, it was like a reoccurring flashback of what bill did to that boy, he felt sick, and guilty. He didn’t want for the boy to die, he never asked for anyone to die. since then Jasper noticed what Bill’s intentions were, and he knew that he’d be in some trouble in the future. |
